Nicole wrote the rap lyrics for KARA's first album. Nicole also joined Star Golden Bell. She hosted a segment called Level With Me in which the contestants have to guess a term or title from the clues given by Nicole, the difficulty comes from Nicole's lack of skill and experience with the Korean language. The segment ran from December 2008 to October 2009. In August of 09 she became the new MC for historical culture variety show Bonanza. She also sang a duet with Kang Kyoon, a member of boy group Noel.
